VISIBILITY AND INFORMATION DAYS IN THE FACE OF A DISAPPEARANC

Our coordinators in the Balearic Islands, Pilar Alberti and Xisco Pol, participated, with the tent sosdesaparecidos in the days of urgency and emergencies that was held at the XII Meeting of emergency bodies Memorial Juan Cifuentes on Sunday 22 October 2023 in the Polígono de Can Matzarí in Inca – (Mallorca). Within the activities of the project LOST2 are being held within the Spanish territory to give visibility to cases of disappearance of the Islands.
More than 600 people were interested in the visibility tent where they could see the image of people who are currently missing, as well as have information about the LOST2 project, protocols for disappearance and ask questions and doubts to our coordinators, from the means of activation, psychological and police help in case of a disappearance.
Within the LOST2 Project we understand that it is very important for citizens to be aware of the problem of missing persons and the drama suffered by the families.
The participants had at their disposal a leaflet with detailed information on how to act in the event of a disappearance as well as being able to see the material that is used in the search devices.
